Dexter—Larry Dean Stodden, 33, of Dexter was killed in an industrial accident on Dec. 12, 1995 at Midland Brick in Redfield. Services were held Dec. 15 at the Dexter United Methodist Church, with burial in Dexter Cemetery.

Mr. Stodden was born on Sept. 6, 1962 to Merlin Stodden and Genora Carpenter Stodden in Perry. He moved to Dexter as a child and attended Dexfield Community Schools. He worked as a mechanic at Montgomery Ward and Sears before joining Glen-Gery Brick Co. of Redfield in 1991. He married Charlene Payton on Oct. 7, 1995.

Mr. Stodden is survived by his wife, of Dexter; his son, Bradley of Dexter; his parents of Dexter; and four siblings, Melvin of Dexter, Debbie Shoesmith of Dexter, Denise Mitchell of Boone and Joan Stodden of St. George, Utah. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one sister, Lorraine.
