Saturday shortly after one o’clock, while working on his farm east of town, Geo. Blohm was stricken with apoplexy, and before a physician could reach him he had passed away. Two of his sons, Walter and Frank and one son-in-law Lawrence Marsh were with him at the farm. Apparently Mr. Blohm had no warning of the stroke, and he passed away without uttering a word to his relatives. Three of his sons are in the U.S. service, Carl at Camp Dodge, George in Texas, and Will in France. Carl and George have arrived home, and the funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:30 at the Lutheran church.
