Page 3, Column 6Dexter—A funeral for Marjorie Frances Eshelman Blaylock, 93, of Perry was held Sept. 23, 1993 at McKee Funeral Home here, with burial following at Dexter Cemetery. Mrs. Blaylock died of pneumonia on Sept. 20 at Rowley Memorial Masonic Home at Perry.
The daughter of Oliver D. and Hattie Keables Eshelman, she was born near Hitchcock, S.D. on Nov. 10, 1899. She married Ralph L. Blaylock on April 24, 1922 at Cedar Rapids. They lived many years in the Des Moines area, moving to Dexter in 1968. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by two brothers, Elmo and Donald.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph of Rowley Memorial Masonic Home at Perry; two daughters, Jeanne Trushcheff of Boone and Mary Eshelman of Dexter; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.
