On Jan. 17, 1921 he was married to Ruth Brown of Adel. Their home was blessed with three children: Margaret Eloise Feller, Redfield; Carroll Thomas Beane and Betty Madeline Davis of Dexter.

He and his wife united with the Methodist church in Dexter in 1956, where he attended as his health permitted.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Ruth, four children, 10 grandchildren. Also three sisters, Mrs. Otis Dymond, Mrs. Dave Steele of Adel and Mrs. Art Dollman of Muscatine; three brothers, Roy Beane, Redfield, John Beane, Adel and Clyde Beane of Newton. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, three brothers and one sister.

He was a kind and loving husband and father and one of his greatest enjoyments of later life were his grandchildren.
