Rites Held For Ruth Beane, 77

Funeral services for Hannah Ruth (Brown) Beane, were held Thursday, January 17, at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Dexter. Mrs. Beane was born and raised in the Ortonville area and attended school there. She passed away January 14 at the age of 77 years.

Rev. James Nicholson was in charge of the service. Robert Lawson was soloist accompanied by Mrs. Keith Chapler. Pallbearers were Jack Feller, Mike Feller, Eugene Brown, Harold Dymond, Ira Piercy and Alvin Boston. Burial was at the Dexter Cemetery.

Mrs. Beane is survived by three children: Margaret Eloise Draskovich, of Kansas City, Kans., Carroll Thomas Beane, of Dexter and Betty Madeline Davis, also of Dexter.
