Services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Murdock-Timeon Funera Home in Perry for former Perry resident Ralph E. Moss, 95 of Madrid.

Moss was a resident of the Madrid Lutheran Home. He died Saturday at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Visitation begins at noon Tuesday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established. Contributions may be left at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery near Minburn.

Moss was born Nov. 5, 1887, in Missouri, the son of John and Sarah Ireland Moss. He married Elizabeth Thogmarten in Missouri in 1914.

Survivors include daughter Lillian Friedrichsen of California, three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son, seven brothers and sisters.
