Dexter – Belva U. Scott, 78, was born September 7, 1926 in Stuart, Iowa. She passed away Saturday, November 13, 2004 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be held at Dexter United Methodist Church on Thursday, November 18 at 10:30 a.m. Friends may call Wednesday, November 17 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Ruppert Funeral Home in Stuart, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the care of the family.
Belva resided in Dexter most of her life and worked at the Redfield Locker for several years. She is survived by her son, Roscoe Don Scott of Redfield and daughter, Rhonda Diane Kuster of Dexter; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Jean Scott and son-in-law, Jim Kuster; five grandchildren, Jeremy, Sarah and Jessica Scott and Samantha and Tina Kuster; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Scott, her parents, two brothers and a sister.
