Dexter NewsWord came to Dexter of the death of Mrs. Eva Underwood, 80, who died Monday at the Potter Nursing Home in Anita, where she had been an arthritis patient the past four and one half years. Mrs. Underwood suffered a heart attack and never recovered.
She was born October 12th, 1875 at Dexter. Her husband and brother preceded her in death. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Croxton of Upton, Wyoming; two sons, Rex of Massena and Clair of Adair; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Lily Newport of Adair and Mrs. Minnie Laughlin of Los Angeles, California. Funeral services are pending.
