Leslie Thompson, age 77, known as Popcorn Pete, passed away recently at Clarinda. Mr. Thompson, who came with his parents to Menlo from Paullina, resided in Menlo until after their death. For several years he lived in Stuart, but made his home in Dexter for many years and was living in Dexter when he was taken to the Clarinda hospital.
