James Merrill Osborn, 20 month old son of Charles and Elsie Osborn of Dexter, passed away Tuesday morning, April 13. The cause of his death was uncertain, but there seemed to be some sort of a stoppage in the windpipe. He was the only child of his parents. His paternal grandparents are Robert and Elsie Standing Osborn near Dexter.

Funeral services were held at the Robert Osborn home, and later, from the Evan’s Funeral home in Dexter. Burial was in the Bear Creek cemetery.

Relatives from Colorado, Kansas and Mass. came to attend the funeral. The Sunshine Circle prepared and served the dinner.
