Dakota James Dalton, 6-year-old son of Martin Dalton and Luci Miller of 2612 Des Moines St., died of complications of hydrocephalus Wednesday at Blank Children's Hospital.

Services were held Saturday at Hamilton's Funeral Home.

A previous obituary should have said that in addition to his parents, he also is survived by a half-sister, Shawnea Dalton of Des Moines; his grandparents, Sandi Strurm of Dallas Center, Jim and Connie Miller of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Kenneth and Joyce Dalton of Garden Grove; and his great-grandparents, Howard and June Sturm of Dallas Center, Irvin and Wyleen Miller of New Market and Melissa Anderson of Madrid. ~ The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa Sun 29 Jun 1997.
