Willard Lamb, 93, of Redfield died of cancer Tuesday at his son’s home in rock Island, Ill. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Bear Creek Friends Church near Earlham, of which he was a member. Burial will be at East Linn Cemetery at Redfield.

Mr. Lamb, a lifelong Redfield resident, was a retired farmer and member of the Dallas County Rock Club and the Central Iowa Mineral Society, and was a former Dexfield school board member.

He is survived by two sons, James of Lemont, Ill., and John of Rock Island; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Fisher Funeral Home in Redfield, where the family will greet friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to his church. ~ The Ds Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa Thurs 17 July 1997.
