MRS. J. ARMSTRONG DIED AT DE SOTO

Mother of Albert and Paul Armstrong Passed Away Monday at Home There.

Mrs. John Armstrong, 70, died Monday at her home in De Soto. The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the De Soto Methodist Church, with the pastor, Rev. S. C. Peterson, officiating. Burial was at the Stuart Cemetery.

Mrs. Armstrong was born in 1864, and as a young woman joined the Lutheran Church. Following her marriage to John Armstrong she united with the Methodist Church at Stuart. They moved to a farm south of De Soto in 1908, and lived there until removing to De Soto a few years ago. Mrs. Armstrong had the highest respect of the many who knew her while she lived near Fairview and later at De Soto.

The husband and children survive. One son, Albert lives at Dexter and another, Paul, lives on a farm near Earlham. The other children are on farms near De Soto.
