Helen Irene, little daughter of Ed and Dorothy Sumpter, was born July 24th, 1925, and after a brief stay of eight and one-half months, her spirit took its flight.

Helen was taken very sick in January but by the aid of physicians and loving care she recovered and then continued to develop normally. A few days ago when a second attack of this strange illness took hold of her little body, in spite of the heroic efforts to save her, on Friday April 9, she quietly slipped away, leaving a parting smile to all as a precious memory.

She has joined little Edrie Nadine, but leave the parents, Darline, the grandparents and many other relatives and friends who are touched by the loss of this baby.
