Mrs. Julia Ann Iles, mother of Lawrence Iles, residing northeast of Earlham, passed away this morning in the 89th year of her life. She was born August 2, 1832 and had lived continuously on the farm where she died for 68 years. In fact Mrs. Iles’ memory easily recalls when the Indian raids were not uncommon. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. and interment will be in Ellis Cemetery.
