Died, at Mercy hospital, Des Moines, June 12, Mrs. Ida Jordan Wright, aged 40 years. Mrs. Wright had been a resident of DeSoto a number of years, although at the time of her death her home was in Adel.

She leaves a father, mother, sister, brother, husband and daughter to mourn her. Her remains were taken to the Jordan homestead near Valley Junction and buried in the Jordan cemetery. The order of daughters of Rebecca, of which she was a member, had charge of the funeral service. A large number of friends from DeSoto attended.
