Died, Sept. 21st, at her father’s home in DeSoto, Mrs. Dovie Dawson Stevens, of consumption. She leaves a little son, and a husband from whom she became separated some years ago, besides a father and a number of sisters and brothers. The funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, the body being buried in the Ellis burying grounds by the side of her mother who died some years ago.
