PATRICIA THOMPSON, California,

Patricia Ann Thompson, 73, of Lakewood, Calif., died Nov. 9, 2008, at her home.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Forest Lawn in Cypress, Calif.

Patricia Thompson was born Aug. 16, 1935, in Perry to Clyde and Eleanor Anderson, raised on the family farm, and attended Washington Township Consolidated School in Minburn. Her marriage to John T. Thompson took place in June of 1957. In 1964, she and John moved their family to California. Patricia worked for GTE for 31 years, retiring in 2003.

She is survived by her husband, John; two daughters, Lori and Cheryl; three sons, John, Kirt and Erik; a brother, Dan Anderson of Winterset; and 12 grandchildren.
