Linda L. Adkins, age 59 died at Hospice Kavanagh House on Grand in West Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday June 22, 2008. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday June 25, 2008 at the Bear Creek Friends Church in rural Earlham.

Linda was employed as the Library Director at the Dexter Public Library. She was also a member of the 20th Century Club.

Linda is survived by her husband Richard Adkins of Dexter; her son Benjamin Adkins and wife Amy of West Des Moines; mother Martha Mendenhall and sister Karen Mendenhall of Dexter.

Visitation will be Tuesday June 24, 2008 from 3-8:00 pm at the Kuhn Funeral Home in Dexter where the family will greet friends from 6-8:00 pm. Memorials may be directed to the Dexter Public Library.
