John F. Knoll (Tub), 82, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 of acute leukemia at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

John is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carolyn; sons Gary (Christine) of Earlham, Michael (Roxanne) of Adel; daughter Lynn (John) Chambers of Dallas Center; seven grandchildren; seven great -grandchildren; brother Ivan Knoll of Adel and sister Pauline Sydness of Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2008 at First Presbyterian Church in Dallas Center. Burial will be at the Waukee cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, June 5, at First Presbyterian Church in Dallas Center with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to his church, First Presbyterian Church in Dallas Center or to the American Cancer Society.
