Graveside services will be Sept. 16, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. for Ronald Wayne Hoaglund, 59, of Battle Creek at Ida Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Marvin Lindley will officiate. Friends may call at Christensen-Ciha Funeral Home in Ida Grove today (Wednesday) from 3 to 8 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Mr. Hoaglund died Sept. 11 at his home.

Mr. Hoaglund was born Jan. 6, 1940, in Arthur, the son of F. Russell and Bertha (Salmon) Hoaglund. He married Leona Lansink Oct. 18, 1962, in Ida Grove. He worked as an auto body repairman for many years, then was employed at GOMACO as a service technician for five years. He moved to the Atlanta, Ga., area where he continued working as a service technician for various companies until his retirement in 1992.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters and their husbands, Elizabeth and Mark Ulrich of Arthur and Barb and Ned Hancock of Overland Park, Kan.; a son, Wayne Hoaglund of Orange, Calif.; three grandchildren, Brandon Lewis and Austin Ulrich, both of Arthur, and Ellen Hancock of Overland Park, Kan.; two sisters, Dorothy Williams of San Diego, Calif., and Elaine and her husband, Dean McCormick, of Ida Grove; and a brother and his wife, Ken and Sharon Hoaglund of Burbank, Calif.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
