Joseph B. Weed, 77 of Ute, died Friday (July 6th, 2007) at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Charter Oak with burial at St. Clair Cemetery in Ute. The Huebner Funeral Home in Charter Oak is in charge of arrangements where friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday. A prayer service will be at 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce of Ute; one daughter, Dee Anna Weed of Postville; two sons, Joseph of Ute and Randy of Charter Oak; and nine grandchildren.
