Verlee Lee Ann Leinen, 66 of Anchorage, Alaska, died Friday, June 29, 2007 at Anchorage.

A wake service will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary Our Lady of Fatima Church in Portsmouth. Visitation will be from noon-5 p.m. Thursday at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan. Visitation will also be at St. Mary's in Portsmouth from 6-9 p.m. Thursday. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's in Portsmouth with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Portsmouth. The Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include three brothers, James Leinen of Denison, Orville Leinen of Panora and Harvey Leinen of Harlan; and four sisters, Ursula Bruck and Zita Smith of Portsmouth, Eunice Blum of Panama and Mildred Brus of Denison.

Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Portsmouth. Verlee Leinen died Friday, June 29th, 2007. Survivors include 4 sisters, Ursula Bruck of Portsmouth, Eunice Blum (Gilbert Loeffler) of Panama, Mildred Brus (Jerry) of Denison and Zita Smith (Gaylen) of Portsmouth; 3 brothers, James Leinen (Dorothy) of Portsmouth, Orville Leinen (Kathleen) of Panora and Harvey Leinen (Charlotte) of Harlan; 1 brother-in-law, Mark Daoust of Atlantic. Visitation will be held noon to 5;00 PM, Thursday, July 5th, 2007 at the Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan and from 6:00 to 9:00 pm with a wake service starting at 7:00 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Portsmouth.
