Mark Steven Milow was born in Red Oak, Iowa, September 30, 1956, the son of LaVerne and Barbara Whitehead Milow. He died Saturday, March 24, 2007 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma at the age of fifty.

He received his education in the Denison Community Schools. Mark was united in marriage to Denise Hurd in April of 1987. He was a fork-lift operator for many years for AAON and served as a part-time cook at the Cresent Cafe in Sand Springs. In his leisure time, he enjoyed golf, billiards, music, gardening, cooking and watch cooking programs on television. He enjoyed playing with his dog and was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ann. Survivors include his wife, Denise of Sand Springs; step-daughter, Liz Guinn of Fernley, Nevada; his father, LaVerne and his wife, Vi of Denison; one sister, Lori Garrett and her husband, Darrell of Shreveport, Louisiana; two brothers: Mike Milow and his wife, Kay of Omaha, Nebraska and Brad Milow and his wife, Carla of Wheatridge, Colorado; step-sisters: Lana Wellsandt and her husband, Dennis of Kiron and Ruth Ann Crecelius and her husband, Gary of Fayetteville, North Carolina; and two step-brothers, George Janssen and his wife, Karen of Denison and Curt Janssen and his wife, Debbie of Manning; other relatives and many friends.

Services were held Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Chapel in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.

Grave side services were held Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Crawford Heights Memory Gardens in Denison, Iowa. Rev. Gordon Buchholz officiated the services. The family invited everyone in attendance to join them for fellowship and lunch at Cronk's Restaurant in Denison. The Huebner Funeral Home in Denison was in charge of the arrangements.
