Irene M. A. Oldfield, 86, of Dow City, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, at Eventide Lutheran Home in Denison.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Denison Baptist Church with burial at the Nishnabotna Cemetery in Manilla.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Pfannebecker Funeral Home in Denison.

A memorial has been established to Crawford County Home Health and Hospice.

Survivors include her husband, William "Barney" Oldfield of Dow City; four children, Shirley McIlmurray of Ajax, Ontario, Canada, Jim Oldfield of Litchfield, Maine, William Oldfield of Rochester, Minnesota, and Jean Thiedeman of Marion; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth Gorham of Woodbine.
