Most welcome Julie, When contacting a church, always ask for all the info in the book/register. (notes may appear on the page borders) In the Catholic faith for example, one of the questions asked of the couple was the name & locale of the baptizing church. This was for the publication of the banns in the baptizing church. A church may not have notified an overseas church, but the question was asked. It's not going to appear on a certificate if that's all you request. For a better idea of the locale go to www.skcensus.com, click on a state, then county. Will give you that counties township map. Continuing success in all your genealogical pursuits and have a safe & rewarding holiday week-end. Dick
