Clinton resident 1872-1875

I am trying to find information on my gg grandmother who came to America in 1872, with her mother and some siblings. Her mother's name was Wiebke Christine (Peters) Dethmann, the siblings were Johanna, Christian, Catharina, and my gg grandmother's name was also Wiebke Christine Dethmann. In her obituary, it states that she "lived at Clinton until 1875 when she moved to Denison." She married Hans Jacob Sachau in Denison in 1875. I am thinking perhaps Hans Jacob also lived in Clinton and they may have met there. Can anyone help me verify this information? I don't know if it's possible to verify this, since they only lived "at Clinton" for 3 years. Any suggestions?? Thank you.
