Harold L. Fatchett Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Pape Funeral Home, Clinton.
SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
CLINTON ¿ Harold L. Fatchett, 74, of Clinton, died Wednesday at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Burial will be in Prairie Union Cemetery, Low Moor.
He was born March 10, 1932, in Clinton to Howard C. and Lucille Sentman Fatchett. He married Norma Graybill on Aug. 31, 1963, in Guttenberg. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving on the USS Hunt Battleship from 1951 to 1955. He worked with R.D. Letch Gun Shop, Clinton, and Clinton Corn Processing, Archer Daniels Midland, for more than 25 years before retiring in 1989. He was a member and volunteer with the Clinton Sheriff Posse.
Survivors include his wife; one son, George (Starlet) Fatchett of Dubuque; two stepgrandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Leola (Jim) DeCock of Madison, Wis.; and one brother, Wayne (Shirley) Fatchett of Moline, Ill. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son. Death date: May 17, 2006
