The Clinton Herald Tuesday June 18, 1963 p. 5 Mrs. Clarence Fatchett, 49, died at 11:30 p.m. Monday in DeWitt Community Hospital after a 10 day illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the McGinnis funeral home with burial in Elmwood cemetery. Friends may call after 7:30 p.m. today. Emma Mathilda, daughter of Theophil and Maria DePaepe, was born March 6, 1914, in Marshall, Minn. On Dec. 5, 1934, she married Clarence Fatchett in DeWitt, where she lived for 29 years. She was a member of the DeWitt Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband; three sons, John of Clarmont, Calif., James of Rock Island, Ill., and Joe at home; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Janis) Black of Buena Park, Calif.; her mother, Mrs. Maria Simeon of East Moline, Ill.; two grandchildren; one brother, Albert of McCausland; and three sisters, Mrs. Louise Davis of Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. Germaine Grams of Upland, Calif., and Mrs. Carol Abrams of Silvus, Ill., She was preceded in death by her father, one sister, two brothers and one grandchild.
