Winton S. McCulloh

Visitation: 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt.

SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Low Moor United Methodist Church.

DEWITT — Winton S. McCulloh, 81, DeWitt, died Friday at Westwing Place, DeWitt.

Pallbearers will be Tim, Ryan and Christopher McCulloh, Joshua Schuler, Tom and Matt McCulloh and Stuart McCulloh.

Burial will be in Prairie Union Cemetery.

He was born June 14, 1925, in Clinton County to Winne and Rosalie Helble McCulloh. He married Cleone Olson on June 28, 1950, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Calamus.

He attended country school through eighth grade. He spent ninth grade in Elvira and graduated from DeWitt High School in 1943.

He was active with the Low Moor Lions Club, a lifetime member of Low Moor United Methodist Church, Clinton County 4-H Club leader, Eden Township trustee, served on the Prairie Union Cemetery Board, Clinton County and Iowa Cattlemen and Clinton County Pork Producers.

He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife; children, Jim (Julie) McCulloh of Waukee, Reed (Kate) McCulloh of North Liberty, Nancy (David) Schuler of Muscatine, Brian (Lori) McCulloh of Viroqua, Wis., Murl (Tracey) McCulloh of Camanche and DeAnne (Brent) Bloomberg of Orion, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Robert of Camanche and Glenn (LaVonne) of DeWitt.

Memorials may be made to Low Moor United Methodist Church, the 4-H Foundation or Hospice.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
