FULTON, Ill. — Blanche M. Wickes, 95, of Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton, died Saturday at the nursing home.
Interment will be in Lower York Cemetery, Thomson, Ill.
She was born Jan. 25, 1911, in Mauston, Wis., to Edward and Stella Nolan Babcock. She married Cecil C. Wickes on Aug. 14, 1943, in Rockford, Ill. He died in 1996.
She was educated in rural Mauston schools.
She farmed in Egan, Ill., where she raised Black Angus cattle. After retiring from farming, she moved to Fulton.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Fulton.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Evans of Evensdale, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Doris Russo of Clonmany, Ireland, and Mrs. Evelyn Sciame of Rockford, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and two brothers.
