SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ebenezer Reformed Church, Morrison, with the Rev. Jon Nienhuis, pastor of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison, officiating.
MORRISON, Ill. — Elizabeth E. “Betty” Schipper, 92, of Resthave Nursing Home, Morrison, died Sunday at the nursing home.
Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.
Pallbearers will be Randy and Timothy Geerts, Brian and Mark Schipper, Tory Upton, Ronald Vandermyde, Dawn De Schepper, Angela Driscoll, Carla Norton, Jill Norton, Teresa Stout and Darla Vandermyde.
She was born Feb. 11, 1914, in Morrison to Henry and Fannie Van Dyke Medema.
She was educated in rural Whiteside County schools.
She married Andrew Schipper on Jan. 26, 1935, in Morrison. He died in 1977.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church and the church’s Quilters and Ladies Aid Society.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara (Neal) Geerts of Morrison; two sons, David (Darlene) Schipper and Roger (Sheila) Schipper, both of Morrison; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Schipper of Morrison and Mrs. Marian Houzenga of Fulton, Ill.
Memorials may be made to Ebenezer Reformed Church, Morrison.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and two brothers.
