DAVENPORT — Stephen Paul Ehrler, 56, of Davenport, died Sunday at his home.
There will be a celebration of his life at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the mortuary. There will be an additional visitation one hour prior to the service Wednesday. Burial will be in the Oakdale Memorial Cemetery, Davenport.
He was born Oct. 17, 1949, in Dubuque to Howard and Patricia Naney Ehrler. He married Karla Sue Turner on May 1, 1982.
He graduated from Central DeWitt High School and St. Ambrose University.
He was a park supervisor with the Davenport Parks Department for 25 years.
Survivors include his wife; his parents; one brother, Richard (Dianne) Ehrler of DeWitt; and sisters, Margot (Craig) Stender of Littleton, Colo., Mrs. Kristin (Mark) Bruns of Arvada, Colo., and Melissa Hilliker of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one brother.
