Virginia F. Miller

WICHITA, Kan. — Virginia F. Miller, 91, of the Sandpiper Longterm Care Facility, Wichita, and formerly of Fulton, Ill., died Friday at the nursing home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley R. Bomgarden, pastor of Fulton Presbyterian Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the service time Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Fulton Township Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 20, 1914, in Topeka, Kan., to Wesley C. and Florence M. Lane Jones. She married Dr. Donald R. Miller on Dec. 13, 1950, in Kansas City, Mo. He died in 1978.

She was educated in Fulton grade and high schools before graduating in 1934.

She was employed with the Fidelity Life Association and Kemper Insurance from 1940 to 1972.

She was a 50-year member of the Fulton Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday school for 20 years. She was past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Merton Chapter 356 and a 50-year member of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Magi Shrine 26, Clinton. She also was a former member of the Fulton Womens Club.

Survivors include one niece and two nephews; and four great-nieces and three great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and two brothers.
