Annabelle Marie Hey

CLINTON — Annabelle Marie Hey, 89, of Clinton, died Tuesday at Mercy North Hospital.

There will be no services or visitation. The body will be cremated. Inurnment will be in the Rock Island (Ill.) Arsenal National Cemetery at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes, North Chapel, 2304 N. Second St., is in charge of arrangements.

She was born Sept. 24, 1916, in Remsen to Fred and Marie Bernky Eichhorn. She married Joseph A. Hey in LaMars in 1940. He preceded her in death.

She graduated from Remsen High School and from Morningside College in Sioux City in 1934 with a degree business.

She was employed with Brown’s Shoe Fit, Clinton, for more than 30 years.

She was a member of the Lutheran Church Of The Atonement, Clinton.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Susan (Phillip) Letourneau of Montara, Calif.; one son, Rick (Betty) Hey of Clinton; six grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Ruthanna Dorr of Remsen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one sister and one brother.
