SUTTON, Neb. — Ruth M. Nuss, 79, of Sutton, died Wednesday at Bryan LGH West Medical Center, Lincoln, Neb.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, Sutton, with the Rev. Judy Terry officiating. Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery. Visitation will be until 9 p.m. today at the funeral chapel and an hour prior to the service at the church. Sutton Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Aug. 28, 1926, in Sutton to August and Martha Spielman Heinz.
She attended Sutton High School, graduating in 1944.
She married Dwight Lenus Nuss on June 11, 1944, in Sutton.
She was employed with Baumann’s Steakhouse, Grafton, Neb.; and the Sutton Public Library for 20 years.
She was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, Sutton, and Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Nancy (Michael) Brokaw of Camanche, Mrs. Patsy (Terry) Thiele of Columbus, Neb., and Mrs. Amy (Mike) Tinius of Lincoln, Neb.; one son, Dave (Lynne) Nuss of St. Paul, Neb.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marian and Norma Baumann, both of Grafton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three sisters.
