Karen Joann Nolting

PRESTON — Karen Joann Nolting, 67, of Preston, died Wednesday at Finley Hospital, Dubuque.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Green Island Congregational Church. The Rev. Iola McCutchen will be officiating. Burial will be in the Hazel Cemetery, Springbrook. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. The Miller-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Preston, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born June 27, 1938, to Melvin and Leona Tarr Teeple in Bellevue. She married Henry C. Nolting on Sept. 13, 1959, in Green Island.

She was a graduate of Miles High School.

She worked with Jackson County Home Health Care before retiring in 1996. She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society at the Green Island Congregational Church.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Dwain Nolting of Preston; one daughter, Diann Nolting of Clinton; three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Janet (Eugene) Gruhn of Sabula; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorials may be made to the Green Island Congregational Church in her name.
