FULTON, Ill. — William E. “Bill” Clark, 60, of Fulton, died Wednesday at his son’s home.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Fulton Chapel Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley Bomgarden, pastor of Fulton Presbyterian Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Fulton Township Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Files, Nathan Shepard, Scott Schlotfeldt, Nick King, Josh Kolb and Terry Ottens.

He was born Jan. 23, 1945, in East St. Louis, Ill., to William A. and Clella A. Mc Kee Clark. He married Rose M. Honn on Feb. 18, 1965, in Belleville, Ill.

He was educated at Park Grade School, Clark Junior High School and graduated from East St. Louis High School.

He was employed with 3M, Cordova, Ill., for 33 ½ years as a supervisor before retiring in 2004.

He was a member of Fulton Presbyterian Church, former member of Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 363, Clinton. He was a member of several area bands including Welkins Express, New Ephony and the Whiskey River Band.

Survivors include his wife; six sons, Mike Shepard of Conover, N.C., Mitch (Peg) Shepard of Morrison, Ill., Mark (Patti) Shepard of Fulton, Matt (Cristina) Shepard of Alexandria, Va., Bill (Chris) Clark Jr. of Fulton and Jeff Clark of Clinton; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Joan (Bill) Menn of Bellville, Ill.

Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice or Fulton Presbyterian Church.
