MOUNT CARROLL, Ill. — Bonita “Bonnie” Lou Cantu, 61, of Mount Carroll, died Wednesday at her home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Frank-Law-Jones Funeral, Mount Carroll. The Rev. Moises Apostol, pastor of Ss. John and Catherine Catholic Church, Mount Carroll, will be officiating. Burial will be in the Schapville (Ill.) Zion Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was born Jan. 8, 1944, in Hanover, Ill., to Harold and Lois Stadel Wills. She married Alfonso Cantu in Elizabeth, Ill.
She graduated from Elizabeth High School in 1960.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Dino (Sandy) Cantu of Muncie, Ind., Dion (Leanne) Cantu of St. Louis, Mo., and Dana (Mary) Cantu of Corpus Christi, Texas; six grandchildren; two sisters, Sandra Wilkinson of Mount Carroll and Dixie L. Gayton of Rockford, Ill.; and one brother, Wayne (Fran) Wills of Hanover, Ill.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in her name.
