Mary Zissler-Lloyd

ROCKFORD, Ill. — Mary E. Zissler-Lloyd, 86, of Rockford and formerly of Mount Carroll, Ill., died Wednesday at St. Anthony’s Hospital, Rockford.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mount Carroll. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Mount Carroll. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

She was born Dec. 3, 1919, in Mount Carroll to Emory and Ida “Lizzie” Frey Longnecker. She married Warner Zissler on Feb. 6, 1941, in Clinton.

She was a homemaker. She also spent time working in home healthcare.

Survivors include five sons, Ronald (Rosemary) Zissler of Pecatonica, Ill., Warner (Kim) Zissler of Mount Carroll, Robert Zissler of Pecatonica, Gary (Brenda) Zissler of Rockford and Larry Zissler of Rockford; four daughters, Shirley Alley of Sacramento, Calif., Mary Jane McGrath of Milwaukee, Judith Bickelhaupt of Covina, Calif., and Mrs. Sharon (Kevin) McCoy of Rockford; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Pearl Gums of Mount Carroll; and one sister in-law, Helen Longnecker of Mount Carroll.

Memorials may be given to the family in her name.
