CLINTON — Irma Sloppy, 93, of Clinton, died Wednesday at Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton, Ill.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Wayne Weissenbuehler officiating. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to the service time Friday at the funeral home.
She was born June 11, 1912, to William F. and Catherine S. Ulmer Johannsen. She married Stuart Sloppy on Dec. 20, 1941, in Fort Riley, Kan. He died in 2002.
She was a homemaker and worked at the Clinton Garment Factory.
Survivors include a brother-in-law, Orville Martensen of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family requests memorials be made to Harbor Crest Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sisters.
