CLINTON — Bev A. Huisinga, 66, of Clinton, died Tuesday at her home.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Herb Shafer officiating. Burial will follow at Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory.

Pallbearers will be Bob Hjelmaas, Jim Braudt, Chad Thompson, Rob Huisinga, Larry Beebe, Ron Larson and Bob Conzett.

She was born Dec. 6, 1939, in Freeport, Ill., to Troy and Mary Thelma (Eigle) Thompson. She married Jerry M. Huisinga on Nov. 26, 1960 in Freeport.

She was a 1957 graduate of Freeport High School. She attended Illinois Wesleyan University.

She was a homemaker.

She was an active member of First United Methodist Church and its Joy Circle and P.E.O. Chapter JN.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Barb (Dee) Willoughby of Clinton and Connie (Bob) Barrett of Inver Grove Heights, Minn.; six grandchildren; one brother, Bruce (Charol) Thompson of Millersville, Pa.; and two nephews and three nieces.

The family requests that memorials be made to First United Methodist Church or Unity Christian School in Fulton, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
