Dorothy M. Engelkins

FULTON, Ill. — Dorothy M. Engelkins, 75, of Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton, died Thursday at the nursing home.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home with the Rev. Wendell Davelaar, pastor of First Christian Reformed Church, Fulton, officiating. Interment will follow at Fulton Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

She was born march 27, 1930, in Albany, Ill., to Jabes and Josephine Zeeryp Geerts. She married Bernard J. Engelkins on Aug. 31, 1946, in Clinton.

She was educated at the Albany Grade School.

She was employed with Fulton Corporation, retiring in 1992.

She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church, Fulton.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Vicki Steward of Brandon, Fla.; three sons, Jerry (Diane) Engelkins of Morrison, Ill., Steve (Alice) Engelkins of Andrew and Ricky Engelkins of Clinton; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Luella Good and Mary (Harold) Woods, both of Clinton; and two brothers, Paul (Penny) Geerts and Clarence (Mary Lou) Geerts, both of Elwood.
