Mary M. Tressa, 87, of Hanover, Ill., died Tuesday at Finley Medical Center, Dubuque.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hanover. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Republic, Pa. Law-Jones Funeral Home of Hanover is handling arrangements.
She was born Feb. 22, 1918, to John and Eva Ravi March in Thompson, Pa. She married Steven N. "Priest" Tressa in Cardale, Pa., on June 18, 1934. He died in 1978.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hanover and the St. Anne’s Society.
Survivors include two daughters, Marie (Robert) Hopkins and Carolyn (James) Irwin, both of Hanover; two sons, Stephen (Bernadine) Tressa of Brook Park, Ohio, and Robert Tressa of Thompson; one son in-law, Jerry Barker of Warrenton, Virginia; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, three brothers, three sisters and one daughter-in-law.
