Laura G. Elsner, 83, of Dubuque and formerly of Sugar Creek, died Thursday at Stonehill Care Center, Dubuque.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lahey Funeral Home, Maquoketa. Burial will be at Sugar Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
She was born Nov. 15, 1922, at Brown Station, Jackson County, to August and Barbara Jacklovitch Elsner.
She was a homemaker and worked at Our Lady of Angels High School for 22 years and at St. Anthony’s Convent in Dubuque for nine years.
Survivors include her sister, Theresa Hankemeier of Maquoketa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, two brothers and a brother-in-law, Albert Hankemeier.
