Lelah Shubert 04/12/1999 DeWITT, Iowa -- Services for Lelah Grimm Shubert, of DeWitt, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, DeWitt. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. today at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt, with a Wake service at 7 p.m. Mrs. Shubert died Saturday, April 10, 1999, at Westwing Place, DeWitt. She and her husband had farmed near DeWitt and Grand Mound. She also had worked in area restaurants. Lelah Kellow was born Nov. 6, 1918, in Corydon. She married Walter Grimm in 1941 in Grand Mound. He died in 1974. She married Frank Schubert in 1984 in Clinton. He died in 1992. Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or DeWitt Community Hospital Fund. Survivors include daughters, Betty Warner, Port Royal, S.C., and Carolyn Lane, DeWitt; sons, Lonnie Grimm, Davenport, and Carlie Grimm, DeWitt; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; half-sisters, Sharon Baulduck, Cedar Rapids, and Maxine Ranson, Des Moines; a brother, William Simons, DeWitt; a half-brother, Bob Pasley, Springtown, Texas; and foster brothers, Robert and Gene Doran, both of Durant, and Ralph Doran, Elizabeth, Ill.
