Jacqueline Nielsen 12/04/1998 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Jacqueline M. Nielsen, of Clinton, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Clinton. Burial will be Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory, with a vigil at 5 p.m. Mrs. Nielsen died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1998, at her home. She was employed more than 30 years as a scope operator in the cold control department at General Electric, Morrison, Ill. She retired in 1989. Jacqueline McDermott was born Feb. 15, 1928, in Clinton. She married Duane Nielsen in 1955 in Clinton. Memorials Visiting Nurse Association or Visiting Nurse Association Hospice. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Shirley Rockwell, Clinton; a stepson, Terry Nielsen, St. Louis; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brothers, Robert McDermott, of Germany, James McDermott, Elvira, and Donald McDermott, Clinton.
