Florence Gilbert 12/04/1998 WHEATLAND, Iowa -- Florence A. Gilbert, of Wheatland, died Thursday, Dec. 3, 1998, at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus, Davenport. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wheatland. Burial will be in Walcott Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Chapman Funeral Home, Wheatland. Florence Reese was born June 7, 1913, in New Liberty. She married Arnold Gilbert in 1931 in Davenport. He died in 1997. Survivors include a daughter, Diane Hausch, Wheatland; sons, Delmar, Eldridge, and Darryl, Wilton; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Blondina Meyer, Bennett, Lois Fox, Wheatland, and Luella Peterson, Tipton; and a brother, Walter Reese, Walcott.
