Betty Stanhope 12/01/1998 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Betty J. Stanhope, of 1340 Harrison Drive, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, Ill. Mrs. Stanhope died Sunday, Nov. 29, 1998, at Finley Hospital, Dubuque. She was a homemaker. Betty Kopenga was born Oct. 24, 1931, in Fulton. She married Mason Stanhope in 1969 in Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include her husband; daughters, Teresa Cannon and Jody Hardy, and sons, Mark and Bruce Stremlow, all of Clinton; a stepdaughter, Madelon Dixon, Jerome, Idaho; 12 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and brothers, Jack Kopenga, Fulton, and Joseph Kopenga, Riverside, Calif.
