The Clinton Daily Herald Saturday September 17, 1904 p. 6 The Herald mentioned the death Thursday evening of Mrs. T.G. Pelton, a well known resident of this city, who passed away at her home in the western part of the city at 11 o'clock that morning, after a week's illness with appendicitis and complications. The news of Mrs. Pelton's death was heard with sorrow by her many friends throughout the city. The deceased was born in Pennsylvania 70 years ago, and had made her home in Lyons with her husband and family for about twenty years. She is survived by her husband and three sons, Allan, Jerry and Charles, of this city. The funeral will be held from the residence at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
